VICKERLUBE OGL 1860-0 is an aluminum complex thickened grease formulated with high viscosity base oils and select additives to enhance water resistance and establish a tenacious lubricant film. Formulated to maintain separation of the gear teeth and bearing surfaces even when subjected to extreme forces that would normally create boundary lubrication conditions.
The product is formulated with a special solid lubricant additive system for extreme operating conditions such as shock loading. It is designed to prevent metal-to-metal contact, eliminating the effect of galling and scuffing of tooth flanks or stress induced pitting in severe applications typically encountered in mining and other heavy industries.
